This is our home and community. And we love it. If you believe in Maplewood like we do, please join us. We have volunteer opportunities available in mentoring, teaching, beautification projects, just to name a few. Each year we have a Trivia Night event and you can be a part of that. Let us know what you would like to do.
Because the MCBF is a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation, we can accept tax-deductible donations. Non-monetary donations for events or programs can be considered beforehand. For more information, please call Jeannine Beck at 314-781-8588.
Finally, if you have an idea, we’d love to hear from you. If it helps Maplewood, we want to be a part of it. Often, some of our greatest social initiatives have come from grass-roots efforts which started with people just like you. The best place to start to change the world is often right in your own back yard.
The MCBF wishes to thank the 2011 Trivia Night participants and sponsors. Your support and presence helped make our event a huge success!
Your support through this event allows us to continue serving the community through events such as the Summer Concert Series, Picture in the Park, and programs such as the retail loan program and beautification projects.

The First One Hundred Years explores the history of the City of Maplewood prior to its incorporation in 1908 up to what it is today. The compilation of stories and pictures comes from family albums, notes, newspaper clippings, snapshots and publications that are now in the permanent collection of the Maplewood Public Library, as well as interviews and photographs produced specifically for the book. The publication illustrates the many transformations of a City with a rich history and a promising future.
The book is available at the MCBF office for $15.
Throughout the year the MCBF receives requests for volunteers from nonprofits, residents and other entities. The scope of volunteer opportunities can range from providing community event support to assisting a local senior citizen with a chore. The MCBF has begun maintaining a list of individuals interested in volunteer opportunities within Maplewood. If you are interested in being put on the list, please fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and return to the MCBF Office. When a volunteer opportunity matches your interest, you will be notified.
